Ef þú ert að koma af höfuðborgarsvæðinu og þú átt eða hefur aðgang að bíl þá er einfalt að keyra í Stykkishólm, það tekur ekki nema rúmlega tvo tíma. Ef þú hefur ekki aðgang að bíl þá er hægt að leigja bíl, fá far með vinum eða taka strætó. Ef þú tekur strætó þá er hægt að taka leið 57 úr Reykjavík upp í Borgarnes og svo leið 58 frá Borgarnesi í Stykkishólm.
Síðan er upplagt að gista á Fosshótel í Stykkishólmi eða tjalda á glæsilegu tjaldsvæði bæjarins.
Ef þú ert að koma annarsstaðar af landinu þá er einfalt að keyra þó að aksturinn geti verið lengri. Í einhverjum tilfellum er hægt að taka strætó en þá er best að skoða það á straeto.is.
Ef þú ert að koma erlendis frá þá er tilvalið að fljúga til Íslands með Play (skemmtilegasta flugfélag Íslands) og lenda á KEF flugvelli. Þaðan er hægt að leigja bílaleigubíl og keyra í Stykkishólm, sem tekur ekki nema tæpa þrjá tíma. Svo er líka hægt að taka strætó. Þá viltu taka leið 55 á BSÍ í Reykjavík og svo eru ýmsir möguleikar til að komast annaðhvort í Mjódd eða Ártún til taka leið 57 upp í Borgarnes og svo leið 58 frá Borgarnesi í Stykkishólm.
Svo er aftur upplagt að gista á Fosshótel í Stykkishólmi eða tjalda á tjaldsvæði bæjarins.
How do I get to Sátan?
If you’re coming from the main capital area and you own or have access to a car then it’s easy to drive to Stykkishólmur, it only takes just over two hours. If you do not have access to a car then you can rent one, hitch a ride with friends or take the bus. If you take the bus, then you can take bus number 57 from Reykjavík to Borgarnet and then bus number 58 from Borgarnes to Stykkishólmur.
Then it’s perfect to stay at Fosshótel in Stykkishólmur or camp at the very nice camping area in town.
If you’re coming from somewhere else in the country then driving is easy even if the trip could be a bit longer. In some cases a bus is an option but then it’s best to check at straeto.is.
If you’re coming from abroad then it’s ideal to fly to Iceland with Play (Sátan’s official airline partner and the moast fun airline in Iceland) and land at KEF airport. From there you can rent a car and drive to Stykkishólmur, which only takes just under three hours. Then you can also take the bus. Then you want to take bus number 55 to BSÍ in Reykjavík and from BSÍ there are multiple options to go to either Mjódd or Ártún bus stations to take bus number 57 to Borgarnes and then bus number 58 from Borgarnes to Stykkishólmur.
