Founded in Reykjavík in 2015. Morpholith play heavy and slow doomsday metal. Their soundscape draws us into the cold, dark and lifeless space that surrounds our little planet. Into this is mixed an impression of what might be hidden in this darkness. Is there something sinister lurking in the dark? Is the cold darkness of the universe perhaps closely related to the darkness in the locked cellars of our souls? This is a soundscape and impression that H.P. Lovecraft would appreciate.

Stofnuð í Reykjavík árið 2015. Morpholith leika þungan og hægan dómsdagsmálm. Hljóðmynd þeirra dregur okkur út í hinn kalda, myrka og lífvana geim sem umlykur okkar litlu plánetu. Inn í þetta blandast svo hugarhrif um hvað kunni að felast í þessu myrkri. Er eitthvað óhugnanlegt á sveimi í myrkrinu? Er hið kalda myrkur alheimsins kannski nátengt myrkrinu í harðlæstum kjöllurum sálar okkar? Þetta er hljóðmynd og hughrif sem hryllingsmeistarinn H.P. Lovecraft myndi kunna að meta.
